Local family business that still makes a deal on a handshake. Ethical used car sales. Do those words go together? They do here! My experience here differed vastly (in a good way) from the Big Box auto dealers. I will be back. I wish I would have started my search here.
You know in this day and age it is hard to get a cheap car anymore. These guys knew what they were doing, knew how to talk and help with what you need. I am glad that I have come to this place for a car. They set me up just right and I thank them.😌🤝
We recently bought a used Toyota from Nick and LaVista Auto Plex and we’re extremely pleased with the car and the entire process. Especially after going to other used car lots that left out details like hail damage or that the drivers door handle was missing, it became increasingly obvious I could trust Nick and knew what we were getting. The whole experience was great, Nick was very responsive and flexible and it probably was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had.

These guts are awesome. Very open and honest. They ho above and beyond. Not just for a sale but knowledge overall! I wanted the car but wanted to have it checked out! They were all about it even offering several places to go to. No pressure on the sale at all. Very accommodating. Offered to bring rhe car to my house after the purchase. I was referred here by my sister’s boyfriend who had used them to find a few vehicles, and I went in because I was having trouble finding the vehicle I wanted at a price I could afford. They took my vehicle parameters down and found me the exact thing I was looking for. I gave them plenty of time, as I was in no hurry and my current vehicle still worked fine, but they were able to find me the exact vehicle I wanted within a week. A week after that they had it detailed and checked out and ready to roll. Jeff and Nick made the whole process impossibly easy and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking to find a vehicle.

I bought my F-150 from this family owned dealership and it was the best experience I've ever had hands down! I am in the Manhattan, KS area and they did everything possible to make me feel comfortable driving up to them and buying my vehicle. They were very quick to respond and send photos of the truck from all angles, even the undercarriage!!
If you're a service member at Riley I highly recommend giving this place a look as another option. I looked at dealerships near Riley and nothing came close to these guys. The drive is a very simple one and super easy one despite the distance... but for a vehicle you really want it's not far at all. Again, I truly cannot recommend this place enough! Just bought a second car from LaVista Auto Plex. Had minor issues, check engine light so I called Ben who said “bring it in so we can look at it.” I did and they took care of us ZERO questions asked. These guys have taken care of multiple generations of my family. I won’t buy a used car any place else.

These guys are great! Local, family used car dealership that definitely stands out from the stereotypical car lot. I felt no pressure when I first came to check out a car I'd found online. Nick took the time to show me different, similar vehicles and one of those ended up being the one I purchased. They were v accommodating with letting my mechanic do an inspection before the purchase and were efficient with the sales transaction itself. They have a great selection of quality used cars and will not hassle you. I love my new Jeep so much!

I had an excellent experience with LaVista Auto-Plex! I was forced to get a new car due to an accident and I looked at almost every dealership in this area. It was a very frustrating process, as I wasn't sure what I wanted. I was initially nervous about looking at a smaller, family owned dealership. But the salesmen are what brought me back. I was lucky enough to meet all of the Giandinoto father and sons on my multiple visits and they were awesome. Not pushy, knowledgeable and I knew this was the right place for me. I am so happy with my new Rogue and so thankful that I stopped by this little gem off 84th street!! The price was perfect and I didn't have to deal with the 3 hour sit in the office like most larger dealerships.
My husband and I were looking for a specific Honda and Nick was such a great help and so honest throughout the whole process. The family owned business is run very professionally and by genuine people who want to help you. Due to COVID their best employee works mostly from home and just by chance she was there when my daughter and I went to purchase “her” first vehicle. My daughter spent most of her time with Stella. Stella is amazing. She will not leave your side and will listen intently to everything you say. You know she’s listening to you because she will continually ask for your attention and hold your hand. Her one-on-one attention is unmatched. If someone else comes along she will growl at them. Stella is the puppy that works there. I probably should also mention Nick. I think this is the fourth car that we have bought from Nick. When we go down it’s like being with family. Not only does he recognize us but he also remembers the cars that we have bought from him. He listens to what you are looking for, does not try to push anything, and makes sure what he’s showing you is within your budget. He will also go through the pros and cons of each car with you and tell you the history about it. With two more children that will be “needing” cars within the next four years we will always go to Stella... I mean Nick first!!
Nick made my car shopping experience easy and so much faster then I could have imagined. We live out of town in Sioux City and decided to take a trip late one evening to check out an SUV and within 2 days I was able to leave with a 2017 Nissan Rogue! The day I went to pick up my car everyone at the LaVista Auto Plex made my family and myself feel very comfortable and made it a quick process when finalizing all paperwork. I think its safe to say we definitely be coming back in the future!

This is a father-and-sons-shop, and we worked mainly with Nick and Jeff, and they were awesome! Really cool guys and honest, straightforward salesmen. They cut us a great deal on a 2011 Honda Accord V6, and my wife and I love it! They replaced the tires, timing belt, and water pump when they received it into their inventory, so my wife and I felt really confident that we were buying a quality car. My guess would be they make sure all of their cars to be sold are given the same treatment. I highly recommend these guys.

This was my first time purchasing a vehicle and these guys made it easy. No pressure to buy when I was just looking. They made sure I understood everything about financing, extended warranties, etc. When I found the car I loved, they allowed me to take it to get an inspection, after the inspection they changed the car battery and wind shield wipers per the mechanics request. That same day we made a deal and I got a car! They are very accommodating and easy to talk to, I highly recommend them.

Purchased a 2011 Nissan titan with 39k miles. A little over kbb value but on a major dealers lot this truck could go for 24-28k easy. They are by far the best dealership I dealt with in over 15yrs. We don’t normally buy from car dealerships and certainly not from a small family run business like LaVista’s Auto Plex. But I can say we will certainly check with them first the next time we need a new vehicle. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. And they have an amazing golden doodle named Stella to hang out with when you’re doing the paperwork.

In the market for a clean, used car for our daughter. We found the search for a clean used car to be a somewhat daunting experience in the Omaha and surrounding areas. Our search started at the conventional auto dealerships in West Omaha (great people, expensive inventory). To used car dealers moving salvaged cars for retail. We found dealerships where your wife would be afraid to use the restroom (I was); where the sales staff changed weekly. Was it this hard to find dealerships handling clean titled auto's with respectable offices? Is it this hard to find a dealership where the owners and the sales people are in the automobile business for the long term. The relationship building, business career minded folks one remembers the hearing about? Well, the short answer is, yes, we found such a business. LaVista Auto Plex and as you probably guessed is in LaVista, Nebraska. It truly is a pleasant experience to do business with this company. Family owned and operated for 18 years. The two sons, and both parents work this family business. Clean cars, priced correctly with a little horse trading, but not much. Can't say enough about this dealership, clean, respectable, very nice offices. Stella the dog is a hit as well. This business is in business for the longterm!

My wife’s and my experience here was great. Father and sons dealership was great. They were very friendly, very straight forward, and very helpful. If I had a question about the vehicle they had every answer there and ready to go. They were very understanding and honest as well. We never really got that dealership vibe while being there. It was a very comfortable environment. No pressure for the dealers to buy, they just were very up front and honest. Definitely a place we’ll consider 1st if when the time comes again for another vehicle.
We could not be happier with our experience at Lavista Autoplex. We have now purchased 3 vehicles from them and every time we think there is no way they could make it easier then the last time we were there. However every single time our experience has been just as amazing as the last. We never feel pushed and pressured into anything and I do not know how they do it, but when we give a checklist of what we are looking for, they seem to get every single box checked. They are some of the nicest people we have ever worked with. I love that it is a family run business, and I think they treat everyone like family. I will never go to a pressure filled dealership ever again!!!!!
Great experience. This is a family run business and they will go above and beyond to make sure you are served well. They want your business but their reputation is obvious very important to them. If you want a hassle free, consumer first experience then go visit them!
I don’t usually go to small family owned dealerships but a car we were interested in was here. Surprisingly this was the best car buying experience we have had. They were very personal, professional, and easy to deal with. We traded in an old vehicle without any issues. For the new car, they went over the carfax with me, cleaned the seats, and filled the tank. The experience was great. So long as they have a vehicle I’m interested in the future I would prefer to deal with Jeff, Nick, and Ben here.

What a fantastic experience! I just know this is going to end up being a long review (so many good things to say!), but here’s the short version: I will never buy a used car anywhere but LaVista Auto Plex.
My husband and I put in months of research, looking for the best deal on a quality used car. We pulled up to LaVista Auto Plex, and I was skeptical. So far our search had only taken us to large dealerships (which LaVista Auto Plex is not!). We hadn’t even made it to the front door before Jeff, the owner of the dealership, stopped us. He spent the next two hours patiently letting me poke around and drive not only the car I had researched, but two others. He was informative and friendly, transparent, not pushy or calculating. This is a family owned and operated dealership, and by the time I took the keys to my new car, I felt like part of the family (really). My new car is spotless, high quality, has everything I wanted, and I feel comfortable with the price that I paid. Jeff, Nick and Ben made the whole experience great - even my tearful goodbye to my first car, which I traded in.

We went in Thursday after stopping at 2 other dealers and looking at 4 other vans. The father and son were amazing! They answered all our questions and did not push us like all the other car dealers. We ended up walking away with the van we wanted. We will be back next time we decide to buy another car! Truly amazing people!

Just traded in my Caliber of over 9 years owning it. For a while now I've been searching for a specific vehicle and boom LaVista Auto Plex had it! Not only the kind of truck but the color also! I've watched the lot for a couple years since I have to drive by it. Always seemed to have a great selection of vehicles...smart on their selection. A car lot that has good quality vehicles is tough to come by. Not only does LaVista Auto Plex achieve quality selection, they execute an outstanding service from beginning to end. Not once did I feel rushed or cheated. On top of this, the brothers went above and beyond to make my purchase work out. While I may not be purchasing another vehicle any time soon, I have no problem spreading the word any way needed to get this family owned business out to more folks! Well done Ben, Nick and Jeff. As a first time buyer from this place, it was surprisingly great. I am normally skeptical of buying used but I had my eye on a Honda Civic EX-L they had on the lot. Stopped in to check it out. The staff was very friendly. Offered to let me drive it around, answered every question about it we had and were professional and fun to chat with through the entire experience. I feel I got a good deal for my trade in and got an awesome car with some cool features for a great price. Ended up with an awesome car and so far its been nothing but great.
Based on my first purchase with them, I highly recommend them. The lot had some good cars, friendly and professional staff looking to help you out and an easy process to get you on your way to the car you want. We live by this place and so we drive by it almost daily. I wanted to test drive a Bug they've had there. I liked it, always wanted one, but as a mom, I need a 4door. So I tested the Jetta, loved it! My husband wanted me to test a Lincoln, and so after talking numbers with Ben and Jeff, I drove away in the Lincoln! Ben was super awesome, friendly, no pressure, his brother Nick was great as well. Jeff, "the dad" owns and operates, was amazing! It didn't feel like buying a car at all. Plus, Jeff gave us an unbelievable deal! Need a car not brand spanking new? Go visit this family, because while you're there, you feel like your apart of the family!
This was the second time I went to LaVista Auto Plex for a vehicle. I went because my son recommended them because he had had such a good experience with them. This is the best place in Omaha to go if you need a good used vehicle. They have very nice units on their lot. I got a great vehicle for a great price.
I've worked with Nick both times and I can't say enough about what a good and honest guy he is. I would trust my Grandma with Nick!! He is so easy to work with! On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 20!!!

Jeff sold me a vehicle back in 2001 when he was working for someone else. It lasted 16 years and +213,300 miles. So when the end came, Jeff was there, but now at his own place - LaVista Auto Plex. I told him my interest/type of vehicle, and my top dollar. I now have a beautiful 2013 Dodge Journey. He was able to help with financing (and I'll admit, I don't have to best of credit, but he got a great rate at a good bank). Ben showed me the ins and outs of the vehicle and even found me a nice floor mat for no extra charge.
I've been driving my Journey for about 3 weeks now and it dawned on me that Jeff found a red vehicle (one of my favorite colors), and "Journey" is a spot on adjective for the person I am and the life I love to follow. I don't know how he knew, but I guess he knew back in 2001 too!
I'm not sure I'll get another 16 years / +213,300 miles out of this, but I know Jeff and Ben did me right, and I'll recommend everyone I know to give LaVista Auto Plex a look first before going elsewhere for quality used cars and treat-you-like-family services.

La Vista Auto Plex is a family owned business started by Jeff G, but is now more of a family affair with his sons Nick and Ben working alongside him. We've been recently toying with the idea to get a truck as an extra car just for fun. We stopped in here to look at some trucks they had advertised on social media, but ended up leaving without purchasing one.
Working with Nick was a pleasant experience. We had been referred to him though a friend and he was easy to talk to, and really honest which I appreciate since we all know how car sales can potentially go. He didn't try to convince us to buy anything but instead took the time to talk us through options and let us know more about the vehicles. They are always getting new inventory, and seem to specialize in Trucks, Jeeps and SUVs. They have both foreign and domestic cars. He also mentioned that it's not hard for them to get a car you want if you just let them know what you are looking for. The range of cost here for the Vehicles on average are 10-25k.
I had never really been to a used car lot before, but this was a good experience and I would be willing to do it again. Ask for Nick if you're looking for a car at the right price, I really liked his salemanship style. Maybe next time we'll buy that truck!

My wife emailed the dealership about a vehicle for sale we had looked at the night before while they were closed. She emailed & explained we had a certain amount of money and made an offer as long as the test drive went well. Nick replied & said to come down and take it for a drive & we'll talk about the money then. We went after work the next day and arrived about 30 minutes prior to the place closing. You could tell from the first few words out of Nick's mouth this was going to nothing like every other used car dealership I had dealt with in the past. He explained everything about the vehicle, grabbed the printout of the carfax & said "go take it for a drive". We came back, agreed on the price, signed a few papers & we were done. Nick even had the car inspected the next day (it was from out of state) so that saved us a trip to the DMV, I mean that alone is worth some money. The fastest car deal I've ever been involved with, Nick is such a good guy. There was no uncomfortable moment, it couldn't have gone smoother. This is the place to buy your next vehicle, really.
